Transforming Nonprofit Business Models
Presenter: Propel Nonprofits
Cost: Free
Learn the four core components of a nonprofit business model – revenue mix, understanding the cost of programs, infrastructure, and capital structure – and explore how all these components connect to mission and your organization’s financial health.
Presenter: Luciano Patiño
Patiño moved to Minneapolis from Miami in 2000 to study at the University of Minnesota, thinking it would be a short stay. After two decades, the Twin Cities is home. As a nonprofit infrastructure geek, he has been involved in many organizations as a volunteer, board member and employee. Patiño chaired the Queer Student Cultural Center at the U, been on the board at PFund Foundation, and served as a database expert at the Minnesota Council on Foundations. He love making nonprofits stronger through the smart use of finance and technology. Outside of work, he follows (too many) sports and cooking shows, helps people get fit as a Crossfit coach, and spends lots of time on the couch with his Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Leila.
