Coffee Conversations - Board Governance and the Role of Boards
Presenter: Propel Nonprofits
Cost: Free
Propel Nonprofits invites you to virtually gather with other Propel clients in a lightly facilitated conversation to ask questions, learn from each other, and share ideas about how our nonprofits continue to adapt to the current and everchanging environment while also planning for the future.
Propel Nonprofits will help facilitate the discussion, but the primary content comes from you! Please come with questions and ideas to share! All are welcome to join.
Each time we gather, we'll try to focus on a topic around nonprofit strategy, finance, and governance. For this time, we'll focus on Board Governance with a specific focus on emerging ideas around the role of boards using Michael J. Bobbitt’s article “Boards Are Broken, So Let’s Break and Remake Them” as a start to our time together. Come with your ideas, challenges, and bright spots from your board governance work to share with your nonprofit colleagues.
