Over his 20-year career, Sean Hale has seen first hand how "behind every successful nonprofit you'll find a strong back office." He has served a variety of nonprofits professionally since 1999. Most recently, as Mission Capital’s Chief Financial & Operations Officer, he made improvements that reduced waste, generated new revenue, boosted staff productivity and morale, grew financial transparency, and shrank risk. Over his career, he’s helped boards and management to navigate complex situations and consistently left the organizations stronger and ready for their next stage of growth. Today, he helps small and mid-sized nonprofits build strong back offices. From finance and technology to human resources and operations, he helps them identify opportunities and enhance their processes. In the process, this often helps the organizations save money and work smarter rather than harder.
