Elections offer numerous opportunities to interact with candidates for elected office. As a 501(c)(3) organization, you cannot endorse or oppose candidates for public office. However, you can still use campaigns to get your issues in front of the candidates, build relationships with future elected officials, share your policy ideas, and influence future debates and decisions.

Join Nonprofit VOTE on Aug. 14 as they review the different ways that nonprofits can engage with candidates: hosting candidate forums, inviting candidates to events, conducting questionnaires, and sharing policy ideas and research. Sarah Reddinger from Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland will share lessons learned from working with candidates and answer your questions.

This webinar will be recorded and sent to everyone who registers.
