Microsoft is bringing Ethisphere, a leader in cybersecurity risk management, to Fargo for a free Cybersecurity Seminar for small businesses and nonprofits. This one-day workshop will focus on helping small businesses and nonprofits understand the key components of a cybersecurity program and how to right-size the program to their business and risk profiles. The five-hour program will cover the growing risks and the business case for improved cybersecurity to protect confidential information. Lunch is provided.
Organizations will complete exercises that help them:
1. Understand common internal and third-party risks
2. Identify practical ways to better manage those risks
3. Develop a specific, measurable, time-bound, project to address a specific risk
Who should attend?
Participants will include business and operational leaders for companies that may or may not have an information security team in place. The aim is for organizations to walk away with a clearer picture of their ability to manage cyber risk and next steps on how to mature the approach.
