Consensus Council staff will be on hand to explain the program and answer your questions.
In 2019, the Consensus Council continues its partnership with the Bush Foundation, started in 2014, for the Foundation's Intermediary Community Innovation grants in North Dakota. The Community Innovation grants support communities and organizations using problem-solving processes that lead to more effective, equitable and sustainable solutions. These grants are awarded three times a year. The 2019 North Dakota application cycles are open Jan. 2 – Feb. 4, May 28 – July 1, and Sept. 3 – Oct. 1.
The Bush Foundation continues to make significant investments in North Dakota through this effort. Since 2014, the Foundation has invested nearly $2 million in 189 innovative community-based endeavors in North Dakota through the Consensus Council. The Bush Foundation has also partnered with intermediary organizations in Minnesota and South Dakota to expand the Community Innovation Grants program's reach.
