Most of us run our personal lives on gut instinct. We know what to do because we remember something similar happening, got some advice that stuck with us, or simply reacted by instinct in the moment.

But would you run your organization that way? Unconsciously, many of us are. An organization can learn a lot from data that will inform the decisions it makes, but many nonprofits are not collecting much data or are not quite sure how to interpret what they have. As a result, many of the fact about your organization and its programs are like an elephant in the room—everyone has a sense that it’s there, but no one is quite sure how to acknowledge it.

We want to simplify program data so that you can get clear information to make sound decisions. That’s why we are partnering with Idealware to offer Digging Into Program Data, a three-part course designed to help you improve your relationship with your data and strengthen your organization as a result.

Join us on December 15, 16, and 17 for three 90-minute webinars that will help you:

• Learn how to ask the right questions of your data.
• Explore the many places where data can live.
• Understand various analysis techniques and tools.
• Evaluate multiple strategies for presenting your data.
• Dive into case studies of real organizations using data to make decisions.

The online webinars take place from 12 – 1:30pm (CT) each day. The cost is $85 when you enter the NDANO discount code.

NDANO offers live in-person and online learning opportunities for nonprofits, often with partners. Members receive discounted rates on all NDANO events. All times are Central unless otherwise indicated.

Do you have a learning opportunity or event for North Dakota nonprofits to add to our calendar? Email NDANO with the details.
